Kayla A. Grimslid,

Kayla brings a keen ability to simplify the complex to her role as a financial advisor. Her dedication to being a lifelong learner as demonstrated by both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional certification and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designations has fostered an ongoing pursuit of education that helps her continue to improve upon her abilities and serve the needs of her clients.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Kayla was a financial advisor for Edward Jones. During her time with the company, she was located first in Austin, Texas, and then moved to Terrace Park, Ohio. A graduate of Black Hills State university in Spearfish, South Dakota, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education.

On a day-to-day basis, Kayla works with clients to understand their unique financial situations, gathering and organizing all the ‘pieces’ of their financial life, and helping them to uncover their dreams and goals, both short- and long-term. She consults with their CPAs and various other trusted professionals to ensure their financial picture is complete and being cared for from all angles. Her primary goal for her clients is for them to be able to confidently make educated decisions regarding their finances, and to know that by partnering with her, they are never alone in making life’s big decisions.

Outside the office, Kayla enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family. Originally from rural South Dakota where she grew up on a dairy farm, she now lives in Terrace Park, Ohio, with her husband, Kyle, her children, Lydia, Parker and Otto, and their dog, Freddy.
