Michelle Brown

Michelle's lifelong passion has been helping people make sound financial decisions. "Whether someone passes away early or lives 40 years after they retire, I want to help them make the best decisions for themselves and their families," she says.

With 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Michelle began her career with State Farm in 2000 as an agent in Zanesville, Ohio. She spent 15 years in various leadership positions across the country, eventually returning to Ohio in 2014 to serve as Vice President Agency-Sales at State Farm Insurance Company.

Michelle is excited to join the Moyer Group Wealth Management of Raymond James. She previously worked for Mark and Scott Moyer while in college when they were building their practice at Merrill Lynch. In 2022, Mark moved the Moyer Group to Raymond James, drawn by the firm's commitment to advisors and their clients.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Michelle is deeply involved in her community. She has served on the boards of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Zanesville and Cincinnati, Ohio, the Girl Scouts in Zanesville, and the Andy Dalton Foundation in Cincinnati.

A graduate of Muskingum University, Michelle and her husband Rick, are active alumni, with Michelle currently serving on the university's Alumni Council. They have two daughters, two granddaughters, and split their time between Heath, Ohio, and their family farms in New Concord and Senecaville, Ohio.
