Al Kowalski,
CRPCTM
First Vice President - Investments
I am a graduate of Central Michigan University. I currently hold licenses for general securities sales, options, life insurance, and variable annuity products, in addition to general securities sales supervisor and branch office manager exams. I achieved my Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) certification in 2007. Over the years I have continued to attend due diligence meetings & continuing education programs centered on asset management and investment strategies.
Lori and I focus our efforts on helping people achieve and maintain their lifetime goals and dreams. Our work is about developing pre-retirement strategies and reviewing post retirement outcomes. We not only concern ourselves with the actual investments but also make sure we are minimizing taxes, confirming estate planning is done properly and being involved in family conversations in how to best transfer assets to heirs.
An individual's financial life can only realize part of its true potential when the pieces are not managed separately, but are managed as a single unit. To help individuals, we use a four step disciplined process which is to help the person create, build and protect wealth.
Establish Specific Goals: We look at a person's financial life in total and understand that they may need to balance several goals simultaneously, such as a child's education, their retirement and wealth transfer.
Create a Strategy: We work with individuals to build an agenda that allows the different pieces of their financial life to work together, taking into consideration not only the person's goals, but also the levels of risk they are prepared to take to reach them.
Execute Solutions: The strength of a person's portfolio will mean little if it falls short at execution. We draw from a vast array of proprietary and non-proprietary products to help people customize the integrated solutions a portfolio requires.
Review and Revise: A person's relationship with us should be based on accountability. That means we will meet with clients to review progress, help measure results against their objectives and make adjustments as necessary.
