Leo D. Boisvert is senior managing partner with Private Wealth Consultants, LLC, and wealth manager with Raymond James Financial Services. He holds an MBA as well as the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designations. He is responsible for strategic investment development and estate and financial planning. He combines his professional knowledge with clients' needs to provide appropriate investment strategies.
Along with his duties at Private Wealth Consultants, Leo, also known to many as the "Investment Doctor," is an adjunct professor of business and economics, as well as a national speaker and lecturer on wealth strategies for lifelong financial well-being, retirement planning and personal financial management. He has completed MBA studies in financial management and behavioral economics. Leo was awarded the CIMA® designation from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, in association with the Investment Management Consultants Association. He also holds the FINRA Series 7, 8, 31, 63 and 65 registrations as a registered representative of Raymond James Financial Services. In addition, he is a licensed insurance representative in life and annuities.
Most recently, Leo and Erik sponsored and funded Private Wealth Consultants, LLC, Athletics Scholarship Endowed Fund through the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation, providing educational scholarships to student athletes based on need.
Leo is actively involved in the community. He regularly is a guest instructor and lecturer at Florida Gulf Coast University. Leo and his wife, Maryjane, have two children, Brent, a graduate from State University of New York Maritime College who now serves as a port manager at the Port of Tampa, and Jennie, a former Division 1 softball player at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. She completed her physicians assistants program studies at West Virginia University Medical School and is now an emergency room PA.
In his spare time, Leo enjoys painting, golf, reading and traveling with his wife, Maryjane.
