As an experienced wealth management executive, Michael leads the Nashville Complex for Raymond James.
After graduating from Texas Christian University, Michael joined Merrill Lynch in 2000 as a financial advisor. In June 2008, he earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. In 2010, Michael became Sales Manager for the Merrill Lynch Fort Worth Market, where he also led the firm’s training program.
Recognized as a natural leader, Michael was subsequently named director of the New Mexico Market and served as Bank of America’s market president for the State of New Mexico. In 2016, he was appointed market executive for the Oklahoma Market, overseeing four offices in Oklahoma and three offices in Arkansas.
In 2018, Michael returned to Texas and joined Stifel Nicolaus, where he managed offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors in June 2019 and was named market manager for Nebraska.
Following more than six years with Wells Fargo Advisors, Michael joined Raymond James in March 2026 to lead the Nashville Complex.
Michael has a strong track record of recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams. He is deeply committed to coaching financial advisors and ensuring they have access to comprehensive wealth management capabilities, practice management technology, and the platforms and resources needed to pursue their professional and personal goals.
He has served on the boards of TCU’s Neeley School of Business and the Frog Club, as well as MD Anderson’s Advance Team in Houston.
Michael resides in Nashville with his wife, Ashley, and their two children.
