Edward Benjamin Posey, Vice Presidents, Investments Financial Advisor “ E.Ben “ developed a sense of service at an early age. His father served in the United States Army stationed in Germany where Ben was born. His formative years were spent in diverse areas of the country such as Kentucky, Oregon, Vermont, and Georgia.
Upon completion of high school in Augusta, Georgia, E. Ben entered in the Army in 1977 and served as an Airborne Infantry soldier in the 82nd Airborne Division. The Army took notice of his Leadership and professional abilities and gave him a direct appointment to the United States Military Academy. E. Ben graduated from the academy in May 1984.
As an officer, E. Ben served in an Armored Cavalry Squadron and in an Armor Battalion in the U.S. Army’s Rapid Deployment Force. Upon completion of active duty in 1989, E. Ben returned to civilian life and completed a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. Later, E. Ben continued to serve his country in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Company Commander in a Civil Affairs Brigade with the U.S. Army’s Special Operations Command.
Choosing Pensacola to raise his family, E. Ben began his career in the financial services industry in 1992 by joining A. G. Edwards & Sons. E. Ben joined Raymond James and Associates in January 2020.
E. Ben’s broad background and experiences have given him the ability to provide financial leadership during turbulent and ever changing financial markets over the last thirty two years. Ben assists individuals, families, and business owners with appropriate wealth management and estate investment planning recommendations.
A devoted family man, he enjoys traveling with his wife Magali, and spending time with his five adult children and his 15 grandchildren.
