Roxanne Nelson
Roxanne Nelson Client Service Manager

Roxanne hadn’t initially planned on a financial services career but joined her husband, Rick, in the business in 1994 after earning her Series 7 and 63 licenses. She is truly happy with her decision and hasn’t looked back. Prior to joining Nelson Financial Services, she worked 15 years in retail, service and training, 7 of those years in management. Her philosophy has always been to put her client’s need first. Nurturing client relationships and helping clients pursue their financial goals is what attracted her to change career paths. She realizes that each client’s situation in unique and dedicates herself to ensure that individual client needs are met and each receives dedicated service. Her experience and familiarity bring great value to the team.

Roxanne grew up on a farm near Ord, NE where her father taught her the value of hard work and her mother demonstrated the giving of time and talents to others. Roxanne, too, has contributed countless hours of service to various organizations over the years, including Federated Women’s Club, Beta Sigma Phi, PaC2 Daycare, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, PTO, United Way of Southcentral Nebraska, and Hastings Symphony. She is currently a member of the First United Methodist Church, YWCA, and P.E.O.

Roxanne and her husband, Rick, live just outside of Hastings, NE. They have a son, Derrick, and 2 dogs. When Roxanne isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, decorating her home, gardening, cheering on her “alma mater”, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and their football and volleyball teams, and lake time at Calamus Reservoir where Rick and Roxanne keep their camper and boat.
