Hank started his financial services career as a life & health insurance professional in 2012 for Gifford Planning Strategies, a financial planning firm. A second-generation Nevadan born and raised in Las Vegas, Hank attended Centennial High School and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While there, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Finance.
Prior to pursuing his career in financial services, Hank worked as a compliance officer at Harrah’s Corporation. The highlight of his tenure at Harrah’s was being assigned to work for the World Series of Poker tournament. While he enjoyed his role within the company, Hank was unfulfilled working in the gaming industry.
His decision to change his career path was further solidified by a personal tragic event. One of his clients passed away unexpectedly from an aneurism at the age of 42. This left the widow with a large mortgage she was unable to afford. However, prior to passing, the father worked with Hank to obtain a life insurance policy with the objective of protecting his family. With proper planning, their decision helped the client’s spouse transition into widowhood with less stress. Hank witnessed firsthand the powerful impact that his advice made on their family. This experience has given Hank additional motivation as he works toward Series 7 and Series 66 licensure with the goal of becoming a licensed financial advisor.
Outside of work, Hank enjoys spending his time with his wife Jan and his two lovely daughters Jade and Violet.
