Jim Bunn named Co-President of Raymond James Global Equities and Investment Banking division

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James (NYSE:RJF) announced today that Jim Bunn, currently Head of Investment Banking, will be promoted to serve as Co-President of Global Equities and Investment Banking with current President Jeff Trocin, effective October 1, 2017.  Bunn will join the firm’s Executive Committee and report directly to Chairman and CEO Paul Reilly.

“Jim joined the firm via the Lane Berry acquisition in 2009 and has done an exceptional job of leading the growth of our Investment Banking practice since being named as a Co-Head of that business in 2013,” Reilly said. “Jeff Trocin and I have a great deal of confidence in Jim and look forward to working with him more closely in his expanded role.”

Bunn is a highly regarded banker and leader with nearly 20 years of investment banking experience, primarily in the financial technology space. He began his investment banking career in 1998 at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup as a member of the Financial Technology Investment Banking team. At Lane Berry, he led the Financial Technology and Technology Services practices and upon joining Raymond James became co-head of the firm’s Technology Services Investment Banking group prior to leading the entire Investment Banking division. Bunn holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
