Raymond James announces departure of IAD President Bill Van Law
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James announced today that Bill Van Law, president of the Investment Advisors Division (IAD), is departing the firm to pursue other personal and professional interests. His last day is April 2, 2018.
“Bill has been a strong advocate for Raymond James and our clients during his 15-year tenure with the firm,” said Chairman and CEO Paul Reilly. “He has also been a key contributor to the Tampa Bay community through his leadership with Habitat for Humanity, the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and other causes. Bill has had significant impact on our PCG businesses, including the growth and success of the Investment Advisors Division. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him well with his future endeavors.”

Van Law led a number of initiatives including launching the Advisor Select division, serving as director of the firm’s employee Mid States Division as well as National Director of Business Development for Raymond James Financial Services. He joined Raymond James after an 18-year career at Merrill Lynch where he served in various leadership roles following a successful career as a financial advisor.
The firm has begun a search process for Van Law’s replacement.
