For more than 22 years, T.J. has been helping successful individuals and families manage and preserve their wealth, handling all aspects of their financial lives. T.J. holds licenses for securities, commodities, life and health insurance. His areas of expertise include financial planning, retirement planning, charitable giving strategies, corporate retirement plans and advising nonprofits and charitable foundations.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a credential that demonstrates his commitment to professionalism. CFP® certification is a rigorous, voluntary process that includes highly demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, and an MBA with a concentration in finance and international business from the University of South Florida.

T.J. has a long history of serving the community. He has been a longtime volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters, having mentored his “little brother” for more than a decade. He was recognized as Agency Big Brother of the Year in 2008. He serves as advisory board chair for the Hillsborough County Academy of Finance, a program that provides finance curriculum, internships, mentoring and other opportunities for high school students. He is also a board member of the Tampa Theatre Foundation and is very passionate about helping with the cultural efforts of this historic movie theatre. In addition, T.J. has served on the board of the Davis Islands Civic Association, where he is currently chairing the parks and green initiatives committee.

Originally from Monaca, Pennsylvania, T.J. lives on Davis Islands in Tampa with his wife, Tanya, and son, Eli. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities such as trail running, camping, biking and kayaking.
