Complex Manager

Todd Lovell is a managing director and complex manager at Raymond James, where he leads with a deep belief in servant leadership and a people-first culture. Since joining Raymond James in December 2014, Todd has focused on building a high-quality, growth-oriented complex centered on doing what’s right for clients, advisors and teams - never sacrificing quality for growth.

Todd launched the Boise Complex from the ground up and has grown it from zero advisors to 36 financial advisors and over $30 million in revenue. Today, the advisors within the complex collectively manage more than $5 billion in client assets. His leadership philosophy is simple: be present, be helpful and never ask someone to do a job he wouldn’t do himself.

Originally from Newberg, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Todd now lives in the Bench area of downtown Boise, Idaho with his lovely bride, Kristin. Together they have a blended family of five children and are proud grandparents to nine grandchildren.

Todd’s career in financial services spans decades, including leadership roles at Morgan Stanley in Boise and the Tri-Cities, Washington. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) certification and Certified Estate Planner (CEP®) designations and earned his Bachelor of Arts in business and finance after attending the University of Oregon and Lewis & Clark College.

Deeply committed to service beyond the office, Todd has served on the National Board for the Gift of Adoption Fund, worked with Holt International Children’s Services and spent many years coaching youth and high school sports. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, travel, wine tasting, hiking and biking.

Todd recently celebrated 41 years in the investment services industry and remains passionate about helping people - clients and advisors alike - build meaningful, successful futures. His goal is to do everything within his power to remain relevant and be a resource to all of his employees.
