Ken’s association with Raymond James Financial Services began in May 2009, when he opened his branch in the prestigious RXR Plaza Office Complex located in Uniondale, Long Island, NY. Two years later, the firm moved to Lake Success, and more recently, to Garden City, with the new office designed to accommodate growth and a new partnership.
Prior to opening his branch, Ken was associated with a Smith Barney for 10 years. He started his career as a Financial Advisor, and, prior to joining Raymond James, held the position of Resident Manager of their Manhasset, NY office. In that position, Ken worked with other Investment Professionals in the branch, both assisting experienced advisors, and mentoring those newer to the industry, helping them towards a successful start in building their careers. At the same time, he continued to work closely with his clients. Over time, Ken realized that it was his desire to spend all of his time and effort working with his clients, which led Ken to form North Shore Wealth Partners Inc., and begin his relationship with Raymond James Financial Services.
Prior to establishing his career in the Financial Services industry, Ken spent 25 years in the Apparel Industry. In that time, he gained valuable life experience and enjoyed traveling extensively both in the U.S. and Overseas. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, from Brooklyn College of the City University of NY. He also is licensed as a Series 7, Registered Representative, Series 9/10, Supervisory, Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative, and Series 3, Commodities. Ken also holds his Life and Health Insurance licenses in NY. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in July 2007.
Ken is a big sports fan, and particularly enjoys Football and Golf. He also is a student of the financial markets, which had been, an interest well before entering the industry. He enjoys vacationing on the island of Aruba, which has become an annual family tradition.
Above all else, Ken is devoted to his family. He lives in Bayside, NY, with his wife, Sarina, who he married over 40 years ago and has two grown children, Andrew and Rachel
