Steve, a lifelong Wilmington resident, still lives with his wife on Oak Knoll Farm, which has been in his family for five generations. Little did he know that a degree in animal science, meat science and muscle biology from Kansas State University would serve him well in the financial planning business.
He became affiliated with Raymond James in 2005 through his partner. Once the partner retired, Steve took on ownership of Oak Knoll Financial Strategies. Officially, he is the branch manager and a financial advisor with the Certified Financial Planner™ professional designation. He strives to make an impact on clients with a holistic approach that includes our version of a one-stop shop for financial and retirement planning, business planning and investing.
Steve’s goal for Oak Knoll clients is to maintain their independence and dignity as they navigate life. Always under the assurance of integrity and business ethics, clients are aware that they are respected and cared for.
In addition to ensuring that the Oak Knoll businesses support the community, Steve also personally devotes many volunteer hours to Rotary, church and several local nonprofits. When he’s not working with his family on their flower farm or fixing bicycles to give away, he can be found mowing grass or woodworking.
