John is the Managing Partner of O’Keeffe Financial Partners in Fairfield, NJ. He has over three decades of experience helping individuals, families, and business owners build investment strategies consistent with their financial goals. John is a firm believer in the Wealth Management formula, which executes upon Investment Consulting (risk evaluation, portfolio performance, assets allocation, and security selection), Advanced Planning (wealth enhancement, transfer, and protection) and Client Relationship Management. He currently holds securities licenses for Series 7, 8, 31, 63 and 65 as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.

John is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a B.S. degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, he accepted a commission as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and spent four years on active duty in Camp Pendleton, CA. Upon separation from USMC, after achieving the rank of Captain, he joined Ford Motor Company, Lincoln Mercury Division, working in Sales and Marketing. He began his career as a wealth advisor with Merrill Lynch in 1983. After building his practice there for 16 years, he was invited to join Smith Barney to continue to grow his business while assuming the additional responsibilities of managing the office and overseeing the advisors there. He formed O’Keeffe Financial Partners LLC in February 2009 and has earned membership into Raymond James Financial Services’ Leaders Council each year since (2009-2017).*

John married his high school sweetheart Angela. They have five children (Kristin, Katie, Keri, John and Karoline) and four grandchildren. John is thrilled his eldest daughter Kristin has joined the practice. His interests outside of family and career include golf, biking, travel and summers at the Jersey Shore. John has also acted in various capacities as a board member at Arcola Country Club in Paramus, NJ.
