    Financial Advisor, RJFS

As a Financial Advisor with Raymond James, Nate runs a wealth management practice catering to successful business owners and high net worth families. A key focus area for Nate is helping business owners plan for and execute the sale of their businesses. His background in commercial finance has provided him with distinct perspectives on business sales and transitions; whether that is to an outside buyer, internal buyer, family member, I.P.O. (Initial Public Offering) or to the employees as a group (ESOP). Through a comprehensive planning process Nate helps clients find the optimal strategy for achieving each owner's business, tax and estate planning objectives. The concentration of the pre-sale planning is to determine what the owners need to gain from the sale to maintain their lifestyle after the transaction is complete. Following the sale the priority shifts to helping ensure the proceeds are invested and can create a lifelong income stream. This is done by using a definable and repeatable investment management process with an emphasis on risk management. If you are five years out or less from a potential sale of your business it can be a perfect time to start analyzing and planning your options.

Nate lives in Hampden, Maine with his wife and three daughters. When not at work Nate enjoys spending time with his family. He also takes advantage of all the outdoors Maine has to offer including hunting, fishing and time on the water.
