Throughout her more than 35-year career in the financial services industry, Karen has held one belief above the rest: It is important to invest her time into understanding what her clients are working toward before beginning to think about where they should invest their money. Her team provides a high-caliber of service that is personal and customized to meet your unique needs, as they help you become and stay organized in all areas of your financial life. She strives to deliver service and investment guidance in a tax-efficient, cost-efficient and timely manner.

Before joining Raymond James in 2015, Karen served as a financial advisor and senior training specialist with Edward Jones for more than 20 years. While there, she received the 2012 Spirit of Caring Award and was honored with the organization’s annual production achievement award every year since 2004. Karen also helped to train, coach and mentor more than 6,000 advisors during her time there. Prior to that, she held high-level roles with KSD Financial Advisory, Rogers & Woolsey, E.F. Hutton and A.G. Edwards.

Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in human resource management and organizational development from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. In 2003, she earned the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist from the College for Financial Planning.

A native of St. Charles County, Karen enjoys being active with various nonprofit organizations in her community. She is the chairman and founder of Foundations of Love, Inc., an organization whose mission is to enhance the lives and living environments of low-income adults with developmental disabilities living in St. Charles County. Karen is a former board member of the Greater St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of the Community Council of St. Charles County, the St. Charles County Coalition and Post 5077 of the VFW Auxiliary.

In her free time, Karen can be found spending time with her large extended family, traveling, playing cards, and ticking items off her bucket list.
