After graduating from the University of Kansas with a chemistry degree, Archie obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He then became Director of Product Management at Johnson & Johnson followed by V. Mueller surgical instrument company. Later he founded St. Johns Medical for the distribution of custom surgical trays for Florida hospitals.

In 1997, Archie turned his investing avocation into a career, helping individuals build investment portfolios and retirement plans. After two years at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor and at the University of Central Florida as an adjunct instructor of Investments and Financial Planning within their Certified Financial Planner preparation program, Archie opened a branch of Raymond James Financial Services. He holds Registered Representative, Advisory Representative, Branch Manager, and Municipal Securities licenses (Series 7, 63, 65, 24, 51).

With his wife Pat helping with administrative duties, they successfully grew the investment advisory and have clients in multiple states. Pat and Archie have three children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is active in his church and enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and trekking the woods with his border collie.
