Lydia will tell you that the key to service is connecting with people on a personal level. “My goal for our clients is that they feel understood and cared for – and confident that working with us will serve them well.”
She assists our team with client onboarding, asset transfers, general account maintenance, client scheduling, and office workflow. As a notary public for the state of California, she also provides notary services.
Lydia carefully listens to our clients’ requests and concerns and then dedicates herself to providing attentive service. “I genuinely enjoy being of service to others, appreciate challenges as opportunities for growth, and believe that having a positive attitude is vital in both my professional and personal life.”
Lydia joined our team in 2018, attracted by the opportunity to work in the financial services field and, more specifically, with Owens Estate & Wealth Strategies Group. She says that as her own parents entered retirement, she realized just how important financial planning is.
Previously in her career, Lydia was an optometric technician and billing manager for an optometry practice in Grass Valley and a teacher assistant for medically fragile children at Rosedale School in Austin, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was born and raised.
Lydia has lived in Grass Valley since 2012 and loves being a part of the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing poetry, and hiking. She is an animal lover and has four dogs and a cat.
