Nina works with her clients to set realistic goals, helps them form a financial plan and works diligently to select and review the appropriate investments to help meet their goals. She serves as their financial quarterback, coordinating all aspects of their financial lives with their tax and legal advisors.
One attribute that Nina finds invaluable is being a good listener, which gives her the ability to truly hear what her clients, advisors and staff are saying. There is a mutual respect that enables Nina to be open, honest and candid with her clients and for them to know they can trust her with their most personal situations. They value her experience and patience, and she believes they know she will be responsive to their needs at all times.
Most of Nina’s clients have been with her for decades and are like family to her. They’ve been with her through good markets and bad, through celebrations of births and marriages, and the tragedies of losing loved ones.
Nina joined Raymond James in 2005, opening the first RJA office in the New York metropolitan area. She managed the firm’s Long Island, NY complex prior to moving to Arizona in the fall of 2021. She has more than 40 years of experience in the financial service industry, beginning her career at EF Hutton in 1979. Nina moved to Smith Barney in 1984, where she worked as a financial marketing professional and financial advisor. After a stint at Chase, she was recruited by Advest as a branch manager to open and build their Cold Spring Harbor branch, where she worked until joining Raymond James in 2005.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University at Buffalo and an MBA in international finance from New York University.
Nina grew up on Long Island and currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband, Jonathan, and beloved dog, Charlie. Nina is an avid reader and enjoys a good glass of wine in her free time. Pilates is her latest passion, and music has always been a big part of her life. She is an animal lover who volunteers at local shelters and always finds the time to greet a puppy she meets. Nina is also very civic minded, involved in the drive to get out the vote and support the candidates and issues she believes in.
