Linda Stirling

Senior Vice President, Wealth Management

Linda Stirling came to San Diego and the financial industry in 1987 from Sun Valley, Idaho, a single mom with two teenaged sons, previously employed as a teacher and director of development and admissions at Sun Valley Community School. Hired by Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, she was determined to succeed. Within five years she was managing a satellite office in the San Diego area. Fast forward 34 years, and Linda has joined her son, Greg Fairfield, to form The Pacific Mountain Group of Raymond James, with their primary office being in Sun Valley, Idaho, where Greg resides, and other office location in San Diego where Linda and her husband, Larry, make their home.

Linda earned a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College in Los Angeles and a graduate degree from USC. She is married to retired judge and State Senator, Larry Stirling. Linda and Larry are committed to giving back to San Diego, the community that means so much to them. After the death of her 19-year-old son, Jeff, in a private plane accident, Linda worked with the chaplain in the San Diego County Examiner's Office to connect with other mothers who experienced the loss of a child. From these encounters, Linda was inspired to write a book, "Hope for the Broken Hearted: Stories of Healing after the Death of a Child," as well as facilitate monthly support meetings for mothers who have experienced the death of a child.
