Doug Castle was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2008, and received his Master of Business Administration degree from the cross-state rival Oklahoma State University in 2020. Make no mistake though, Doug is a Sooner through and through.

Doug first became interested in finance and investing in 7th grade, participating in an investment club and even winning a stock competition two years in a row. After spending several years working full-time at a Christian camp and retreat center, he decided to turn his investment interest into a career. Doug has over five years of experience in financial services. Most recently he spent nearly three years at the largest independent trust company in Oklahoma where he gained extensive knowledge of the inner workings of trusts. In 2017, Doug completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification requirements, in order to help ensure that he could provide the best possible service to clients.

While Doug enjoys the technical side of the business, his greatest joy working in this field is the relationships. “I love people and I love hearing their stories,” Doug says, “so a career that allows me to engage with and help people every day is incredibly fulfilling.” He is excited to bring his passion for people to Palisade Financial to serve current and new clients.

Doug, his wife Danae and their three children moved to Bozeman from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They have a great love of the outdoors and are excited to participate in all that this area has to offer. Doug loves to play guitar, hike, camp, snowboard and most of all spend quality time with friends and family.
