As the founder of the Palm Avenue Wealth Advisory Group, T.J. provides valuable leadership for our team. A direct and thorough communicator, he works closely with our clients to ensure each of their financial planning needs are addressed. T.J. aims to help the families and individuals we serve preserve the wealth they’ve worked hard to amass while strategically pursuing their goals. T.J. uses his three decades of experience to understand the needs of small business owners, professionals and high-net worth clients.

T.J. began his financial services career in 1993 with Barnett Bank, where he became a branch manager and, later, complex manager. He later became a senior vice president and financial advisor with Smith Barney before joining UBS, where he was recognized as a member of the UBS Director’s Council. T.J. earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, where he played baseball for four years as a left-handed pitcher for the nationally ranked baseball program. During his free time, T.J. volunteers as a coach/mentor for a nationally ranked girls’ fast pitch travel softball program, the Tampa Mustangs, who won the 2015 National Championship in Huntington Beach, California. T.J. recently stepped down from volunteer coaching Softball at local Lakewood Ranch High School where he led them to back-to-back State Championships in 2021 and 2022.

T.J. enjoys traveling with his wife, Liz, and their two daughters, Kinsey and Avery, as well as playing golf, poker, wiffleball, ping pong, and following most team sports. Originally from Stony Brook, New York, he lives in Myakka City.
