Stephen Paneral

Steve is a senior investment portfolio associate with Paneral Family Wealth Advisory of Raymond James. After a 30-year career in the investment and banking industry, Steve joined Barbara in creating Paneral Family Wealth Advisory of Raymond James.

Steve began his career as a financial advisor and later moved into sales management within the bank investment industry. Throughout his time in leadership, Steve worked to develop and manage financial advisors. The vast changes in the industry regulatory environment led him to join Chemical Bank (now Huntington Bank) as a senior compliance manager.

His desire to get back to working directly with clients, and Barbara’s growing practice, led them to team up and create Paneral Family Wealth Advisory of Raymond James. Steve’s focus is on the management of the practice, financial planning and investment research for clients. He believes that client success requires a comprehensive, planning-based approach, delivered with personal attention and a commitment to clients’ best interests.

Involved in the community, Steve has volunteered his time at the John Ball Zoo, Humane Society of West Michigan and Kent County Senior Meals on Wheels. He is an advocate for animal welfare and support for senior citizens.

Steve lives in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife and partner, Barbara. They have three adult children and multiple pets. Away from the office, he enjoys traveling, tennis, gardening and the Chicago Cubs.
