For more than 37 years, Doug has provided knowledgeable guidance for our clients to support their financial well-being. He focuses his extensive experience on helping our clients with all aspects of their financial lives and coordinates the resources needed to help them address each of their objectives. Honest and thorough, Doug strives to help each client live their fullest and most interesting life with financial confidence.

Doug began his financial services career in 1984 as a financial advisor trainee with Birr Wilson Securities, becoming a licensed financial advisor the following year. He later joined A.G. Edwards & Sons, eventually rising to the title of senior vice president, investments. In 2000, Doug joined First Union Securities as senior vice president, investments and, while there, served as branch manager for six years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.

An active member of his community, he supports the Forgive Me Not Farm, Farm to Pantry, and Redwood Empire Food Bank. Doug also volunteers with the Arbor Day Foundation and Little Trooper Ranch.

Doug enjoys running, swimming and gardening in his spare time. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, he lives in Santa Rosa, with his wife, Angela. They have four children, Derek, Sakile, Malia and Ella.
