Brian earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College of Financial Planning in 1994. He is also a Retirement Plan Consultant. Brian is a 1981 graduate of Colby College where he earned his bachelor's degree in Administrative Sciences.
Brian has over 35 years of experience. Prior to joining Raymond James & Associates in 1993, he was a vice president with Ferris, Baker Watts Inc. for 8 years. Previously he worked with Fidelity Investments.
Originally from the Boston area, Brian now resides in Alexandria, VA, with his wife Missy. Their two children, Rob & Heather, reside in Boston & Los Angeles. He is active in his community. Currently Vice Commodore for the Sailing Club of Washington. In past years he was as Commissioner with the City of Alexandria Park & Recreation Commission, member of the Alexandria Youth Sports Advisory Board, Commodore for the Sailing Club of Washington. Past President of the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School Fathers' Club, member & chair of the Finance Committee for the University Club of Washington, DC, Board member & All Star team coach with the Alexandria Little League. Brian is an avid sailor and has participated in several Newport-Bermuda and Annapolis-Newport races, as well as North American and World Championship series.
