Friendly and outgoing, Marilyn wants our clients to feel as if they are part of our family and she genuinely treats them as such. She strongly believes that every client question deserves a full answer in a timely manner and that no question is unimportant. She is tenacious, determined and diligent with following up.
Before joining Raymond James in April 2019, Marilyn worked at Wells Fargo Advisors and Edward Jones, serving clients, scheduling appointments and setting up seminars. Previously, she worked as a physician liaison at Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital. She also spent many years working part time selling real estate and for a local CPA while she raised her children. Early in her career, she worked in management for the local phone company and as an assistant at Merrill Lynch in Leesburg.
Over the years, Marilyn has served on many boards and volunteered in her church and local schools. She currently serves as vice president of PEO International, a philanthropic organization that promotes education opportunities to women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans.
Marilyn is from Gainesville and graduated from the University of Florida in 1980 with a degree in business administration. She has lived in Lake County ever since, and her family just built a new home in Fruitland Park on Lake Myrtle, where she lives with her husband, Jimbo. They have two adult children: Bin lives in Leesburg, Florida, and Jay lives in Washington, D.C. When not working, Marilyn enjoys traveling and is looking forward to her third European adventure with Viking River Cruises.
