Kevin Collver, JD, LL.M.
Kevin brings 21 years of solid financial planning experience to his role at Raymond James. Before joining the company in 2006, he was an attorney in Clearwater, Florida, practicing estate and gift tax planning, as well as representing business owners and high-net-worth families. Before that, he was a tax manager at an international accounting firm in Miami. Kevin’s responsibilities include consulting with financial advisors and their clients regarding financial planning, as well as income, gift, estate and charitable tax planning. His areas of expertise include reviewing, interpreting, summarizing and explaining sophisticated estate plans; income tax planning and tax reduction strategies; wealth transfer planning; financial and estate planning; succession planning for business owners; stock compensation planning for corporate executives; and planned charitable giving. Kevin attended the University of California at San Diego, where he received his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. He earned his Juris Doctor at the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law and his LL.M. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He holds Series 7 and Florida 2-15 health and life (including annuities and variable contracts) licenses. Kevin’s memberships include the Florida Bar and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar.
