Theresa Gilmore

Theresa Gilmore serves as Complex Business Coordinator for the Triangle East Complex of Raymond James & Associates, where she supports strategic growth, advisor development, recruiting and onboarding, client experience initiatives, and operational execution across seven branches and more than 40 financial advisors. In this role, Theresa partners closely with internal leadership and external partners to advance business priorities, streamline processes, and support a high level of service for advisors, clients and prospects.

With more than 15 years of experience across financial services and nonprofit leadership, Theresa brings a highly collaborative, relationship-driven approach to her work. Her background in business development, fundraising, training, and organizational strategy allows her to connect people, ideas, and resources in ways that drive results. As a Certified Corporate Coach^®, she is passionate about helping professionals grow, strengthen communication, and implement practical solutions that enhance productivity and long-term success.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Theresa served as Chief Development Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain, a regional nonprofit with a multi-million-dollar budget. There, she led a team responsible for fundraising strategy, community partnerships, marketing initiatives, and expansion efforts. She also served as Executive Director of an adult literacy organization and has held various leadership and consulting roles advising boards and executive teams on training, organizational development, and capacity-building.

Theresa earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management from East Carolina University and an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Duke University. She remains actively engaged in her community, serving in leadership and volunteer roles with organizations including the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, Urban Ministries of Wake County, Rocky Mount Academy, Opera Wilmington, and other civic organizations.
