Warren Buffett
I was born in Dallas and raised in Plano, where I learned early on the value of trusted financial advice. My parents had a long-standing relationship with a financial advisor who played an important role in helping our family navigate major financial decisions. Seeing that impact firsthand inspired my interest in wealth management and the difference thoughtful planning can make in a family's life.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, I began my financial services career with JPMorgan Chase in 2006. Starting just before the 2008 financial crisis gave me a unique perspective on the importance of long-term planning and disciplined decision-making. Over the next 20 years, I served in a variety of leadership roles, most recently overseeing the wealth management market for Downtown and North Dallas. Along the way, I met Homer and Arica and developed a deep respect for their client-first approach.
As my career progressed, more friends and family began seeking my advice, which led me to realize how much I enjoyed helping people directly. Joining Homer at Ramirez Family Wealth was a natural next step, combining our shared philosophy on building wealth, serving families, and leading with integrity.
My wife, Ashley, and I have been married for more than 17 years and are raising five children. Three of our daughters are adopted, and one has a rare chromosomal condition called 4Q deletion syndrome. Our family's experiences have given us a personal understanding of the unique financial and planning needs many families face, particularly those caring for loved ones with special needs.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me at a ballfield, basketball court, cheer competition, or spending time outdoors with my family. Some of our favorite memories have been made at Pine Cove Family Camp and on family mountain-climbing adventures.
What I enjoy most about this profession is helping families cut through the noise, gain clarity, and create a plan that aligns with their goals and values. Providing confidence during life's biggest financial decisions and helping families build a lasting legacy is what drives my work every day.
