With more than a decade of experience serving clients at leading financial institutions – including JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, New York Life and now Raymond James – Homer brings both technical knowledge and real-world perspective to every relationship.
Earlier in his career, Homer served as an independent sales director which involved working alongside a family office and a group of entrepreneurs. He feels that experience had a lasting impact on how he approaches wealth management today, applying his firsthand experience of the challenges business leaders face to well anticipate their needs and concerns as his clients.
Homer holds the Certified Financial Planner® certification, Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, Certified Exit Planning Advisor® and Private Wealth Advisor designations. He also focuses on helping clients plan for multigenerational wealth transfer and maximize their charitable impact. His goal is to help ease financial stresses by educating clients on their options, being highly responsive and connecting them with the right professionals to address needs beyond investing.

Homer earned his degree in psychology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He believes his academic background shaped his ability to understand people, ask thoughtful questions and build meaningful relationships.

Homer serves as an assistant scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts. In this role, he spends quality time with his sons while also mentoring and guiding other young men. He also serves on the advisory board for Common Good Medical, an organization dedicated to providing lower-income families in Collin County with access to basic medical care.

A lifelong Texan originally from Dallas, Homer grew up in Mesquite, a suburb of the city, and now resides in Celina with his wife, Kasey, and their four children: Rowan, Lyla, Hudson and Harrison. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, whether golfing, camping, hiking, hunting or fishing.
