Background and credentials
Barbara began her career as a Financial Advisor with Prudential Securities in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she developed her fundamental investment knowledge. She joined A.G. Edwards & Sons in 2001, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. She developed her team approach in 2005 providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families.
Growing up as a daughter of the local high school principal, Barbara learned early that the highest standards of performance and conduct were expected, both in and out of school. While earning her bachelor's degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she travelled to Spain and finished her degree at the University of Madrid.
Away from the office
Barbara raised 3 stepsons and her own son with her late husband, Marty, during their 20 years in Hawaii. They returned to the East Coast in 1991 to once again be closer to family. Barbara continues to maintain her relationships with Hawaii clients with twice yearly visits to the Islands. She is a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Salisbury, CT, and continues to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the disease her son suffered from.
