We’re grateful for the continual support of our clients and neighbors who have helped us achieve success. It’s our honor and privilege to return the favor as active members of our community. Here are some of the initiatives that are most important to us.
2020 a year we will never forget.
After weeks of working from home and social distancing our team needed a lift. So to pick up everyone’s spirits we had a virtual Friday night Pizza Party. All had a great time. The kids got into as you can see from the photos. Pizza, a universal happy food that was just what the doctor ordered. No pun intended Dr Scott Meyer.
We so appreciate all the support and kind words from our clients. We wish you all well and stay safe.
RJ Cares update:
On August 27, 2017 members of the Bedminster, Morristown, Paramus and Westwood offices joined together with United Way in Somerville to collect and organize school supplies for families in need. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time during this fun filled day. A special thanks to Karen Fontana and James Acey for organizing our 3rd annual Tools for School event.
United Way Tools for School
Children need a fresh start for each upcoming school year. United Way Tools for School is designed to provide children from ALICE® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and poverty-level families in our region with new school supplies. Each year, more than 45,000 items are collected by participating organizations and volunteers and distributed to more than 60 schools and community organizations serving children.
Children who receive supplies through this program have the tools they need to begin the school year ready to learn. For struggling parents, providing the necessary school supplies can be a financial hardship. United Way Tools for School helps to ensure children from low-income and ALICE families in our communities are prepared for academic success as they begin a new school year.
Getting involved is as easy as 1 – 2 - 3! Tools for School
On August 22, members of the Morristown, Bedminster, and Paramus offices joined forces with United Way in Somerville to collect and organize school supplies for local families in need.
The Complex collected over 300 items for donation and had a whirlwind day sorting and boxing up supplies throughout the day. This was our second time volunteering for Tools for School. We hope to continue this tradition for years to come! Thanks to Monica, Karen, Dru, Keith, Kitty, Alison, James, and little Charlotte for helping out onsite in Somerville. And special thanks to James and Karen for coordinating a successful event overall!
