A native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Straton graduated from Oklahoma State University with a master’s in business administration with a concentration in finance and investment banking and a bachelor’s in business management from Brigham Young University of Idaho. When not working, Straton enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and watching all college sports. The thing he enjoys most is spending time with his wife Jess and their three kids. He joined Raymond James in 2025.
