Jon Tait has been with Raymond James since 2001and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2012.
Cash flow analysisis one aspect of financial planning that has interested Jon from the beginning. While at the Raymond James' home office in St. Petersburg, FL, Jon assisted two analysts in analyzing approximately 40-50 consumer-related companies. Jonnow assists his clients by identifying short, intermediate and long term goals and then creating an investment policy targeting those needs.
From 2011 to 2015, Jon served on the Leland Town Council. He remains excited about Leland's growth prospects and believes sound financial management is necessary when planning for future growth. As councilman, Jonwas council liaison to the LelandCultural Arts Committee. Jon also assisted Mayor Pro Tem, Pat Battleman, on the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Advisory Committee.
Jon is also aTrustee of the Novant Brunswick Medical Center. TheBoard of Trusteesis comprised of a diverse group of individuals who advanceNovant's mission, vision and values, includingthe promise to deliver convenient, accessible and affordable care to our patients.
Jon is also a charter member of the Leland Area Rotary Club and currently serves as President. Serving North Brunswick County,the "LA" Rotarywas chartered in early 2010. It is one of several thousand branches of Rotary International, the United States’ first service organization. Aimed at making the world a better place, through local and international efforts, Rotary clubs strive to promote humanitarian service while encouraging high ethical standards. The motto “Service Above Self” aptly defines the philosophy behind the organization. Club members, known as Rotarians, take active involvement to improve their communities through their local chapters.
