Ross Marino, CFP®, ChFC®, CFPA is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Founder of Transitus Wealth Partners. Ross began his career as a financial advisor in 1988 and joined Raymond James in 1993. Since then, he has focused his practice on helping people make appropriate decisions.

Throughout his career, Ross has advised individuals, families, and small-businesses owners. In addition, he works to further the financial planning industry. Ross is the Founding President of the Cape Fear Council of the Financial Planning Association, and taught Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ preparation program at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington.

He was featured in the cover story of ON WALL STREET MAGAZINE, entitled "Pride of the Profession." The article profiled seven financial advisors from across the country who made an impact in their community.

Ross is active in local as well as global charities. See Giving Back for more information on his activities, including Mission Made Jewelry, a non-profit he founded in 2015. Recently, Ross traveled on a mission trip to Haiti with his daughter, Mia and a group of friends.

Ross has been married to Jocelyne, a retired photographer, for 25 years, and has two wonderful daughters, Mia and Sophia, who attend Wilmington Christian Academy. Their home, occasionally called the Marino Zoo includes: Lexi, a Blue Merle Pomeranian and finalist for the "most spoiled dog in the world" award; two cats, Lulu (a.k.a. Moo-lu) and Moses, that have mastered the skills of eating, sleeping, and walking exactly where you are about to step; and finally, a domestic rat named "Baby Face", whose favorite place is on Mia's shoulders.

He and his family attend Port City Community Church. In his free time, Ross enjoys playing tennis and participating in anything active with his family.
