Fred joined Raymond James Financial Services in 2019. Previously he spent 44 years with one iteration or another of Wells Fargo Advisors, the last ten years as a business owner.
Fred devotes much time to market research, client service, and management of the office. What makes him different is that, unlike employee brokers, he is responsible for managing the costs and revenues of his branch, as well as serving client needs. It is something in which he takes great pride.
His goal towards clients is to honor them as unique and talented individuals, who he has the opportunity to get to know and assist in this very important part of life. He strives to understand the financial facts and goals of a person, as well as some of the emotional content behind them. His caring and wisdom concerning life and money make him an unusual and valuable resource.
What attracted him to the field was trying to have a meaningful and positively-impactful life on others while making a living. What impressed him about Raymond James is their respect for the client and advisor relationship, and being visionaries of client service for now and into the future.
Fred graduated in 1966 from St. Xavier High School and from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Economics in 1970.
Fred spent years with the National Exchange Club, including serving as a president of his local club. Besides serving on the financial board of his church he has been an active volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul for 12 years.
Hobbies include exercise and biking, reading, and faith development.
Fred is an inveterate Cincinnati guy. Other than spending time away for college, military service, and a few years with Procter and Gamble in Columbus, Ohio, Cincinnati has always been home. His wonderful wife of 42 years is Katie. They have three great children: Ryan, Molly, and Shannon, and six grandchildren.
