Lynn was born in Germany, a daughter of US military family, but at a young age moved to Georgia. Later attended and graduated from Mississippi State with BA in Public Relation. At the age of 21 began working in banking. For the next 10 years, she climbed the ranks to branch manager and later transition to American Express Financial advisors at which point she obtained her Series 7 license. In 2002 she was hired as a sales associate for Wachovia Securities where she stayed for 9 years. After the Wells Fargo/Wachovia merger, Lynn took a job at Park Avenue Securities in Florida.

In 2015 Lynn met with Arthur Rottenstein and was offered a job at Raymond James where the company could best use her talent and experience.
