Jim applies a holistic wealth planning approach designed to encompass everything from managing and preserving assets to leaving a legacy. He uses his in-depth financial experience to develop investment strategies and portfolios that align with each client’s individual objectives and risk profile. He offers guidance to business owners on everything from growing their business and managing cash flow to having a succession plan in place when it comes time to enjoy a well-earned retirement. He helps retirees balance the dual objectives of having the monthly income they need to maintain their accustomed lifestyle while being mindful of their wish to make their money last.As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Jim adheres to the CFP Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence.
Before joining Raymond James in October 2019, Jim worked at UBS for 23 years, where he held the position of vice president, wealth management. He began his financial career in 1993 at Dean Witter Reynolds, and holds a BSBA in finance from the University of Central Florida.
Jim was born and raised in Merritt Island, Florida, where he lives with his wife, Vicki. They have three children, Alex, Sabrina and Mark; and four grandchildren, Taylor, Tawnee, Kolt and Kynlee. In his free time, Jim enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He also serves as a volunteer for his church.
