Jose joined Rudd International early in 2017 after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Central Florida and a master’s from the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management with a focus on financial and feasibility studies.
Shortly after joining Rudd International, Jose completed his Series 65 examination. The Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination covers laws, regulations, ethics, and topics such as retirement planning, portfolio management strategies and fiduciary responsibilities.
As our assistant portfolio manager, Jose helps with data forecasting and uses intrinsic value mathematical analysis (discounted cash flow models) to select companies that meet our stringent tests. During his academic career, Jose was part of the University of Central Florida men’s golf team, where he had the privilege of reaching the Division I NCAA finals on two separate occasions.
