Ken earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The State University of New York at Albany. He graduated cum laude.
Ken began a career in banking in 1984 and developed a strong background in consumer, commercial, and residential lending prior to joining McDonald Financial Group in 2001 and joining Sanford Family Financial of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2002. He then joined the team when they moved to Raymond James in 2015.
In addition to co-hosting The Investment Show, heard each Saturday morning from 9 – 10 on Talk 1300 AM radio WGDJ, Ken’s role in Sanford Family Financial involves the analysis of available industry investment research and strategy, portfolio design and product analysis, and relationship management. He also has an extensive background in taxation and worked in the tax preparation industry from 1994 - 2005, including three years with a CPA firm. Ken works closely with accountants and attorneys on trust, estate, tax, retirement, and insurance planning issues.
