Sandy Family has consistently parlayed hard work and “gut feeling” in an effort to advance his clients towards their goals. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a combined major in business and psychology. Additionally, he has taken courses at Union College in pursuit of an Master of Business Administration degree. Professionally he met the difficult standards and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1987.
Sandy focuses a large portion of his efforts on municipal bond research and strategies. His knowledge of investment planning is enhanced through membership in the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York.
Sandy believes that you must return a portion of your success to the community, which enables that success. Professionally he aided thousands of listeners every day and weekends as host of WGDJ-Talk 1300 AM’s Investment Show. His focus on college funding planning and financial aid assistance is regularly sought, and he is a frequent lecturer at local high schools and colleges.
Sandy has made frequent appearances as a financial guest on local NBC, ABC and CBS affiliates, and has made many contributions of articles to the Capital District Business Review.
