Financial Advisor

John Adams advises individuals, families, and business owners on the thoughtful stewardship of wealth, helping clients navigate investment, planning, trust, and legacy considerations with confidence and clarity.

Before joining Satterfield Wealth Strategies of Raymond James, John spent seven years with Baker Boyer National Bank in Walla Walla, Washington where he served as a Wealth and Trust Advisor. In that role, he partnered with families to provide guidance on investment management, trust administration, estate planning, and wealth transfer strategies, helping them make informed decisions aligned with their long-term objectives.

John brings a distinctive perspective to his advisory work, shaped by a career that spans wealth management, business leadership, and financial analysis. Prior to joining Baker Boyer, he served as Vice President and Operations Manager of a large-scale agricultural enterprise in Oregon, overseeing all aspects of operations and commodity marketing. Earlier in his career, he held project management and finance-related roles in the entertainment industry, including positions with Paramount Pictures. These experiences provide him with a practical understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by business owners, professionals, and multi-generational families.

A graduate of Pepperdine University, John is committed to building enduring client relationships founded on trust, responsiveness, and personalized service. He believes that successful financial planning begins with understanding each client's values and aspirations, then developing tailored strategies to help them pursue their goals with confidence.

Outside the office, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Carolyn, and their two children. Together, they enjoy golf, fly fishing, skiing, and taking advantage of the many outdoor opportunities throughout Idaho.
