Bennett “Pate” Hogan joins Southeast Capital Investment Group as a Client Relationship Associate, bringing a strong academic foundation in finance and economics along with a genuine passion for serving others. A Valdosta native, Pate earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance and Applied Economics from Valdosta State University, graduating in May 2026. He was recognized on the Dean’s List consecutively from 2022 through 2026.
During his collegiate career, Pate demonstrated leadership and discipline both on and off the field, playing football for three years at the University of West Georgia and two years at VSU. He also served as a leader with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at VSU. Prior to joining the firm full‑time, Pate interned with Southeast Capital during the summers of 2024 and 2025, gaining hands‑on experience and a deep appreciation for the firm’s client‑focused approach.
In his role, Pate is eager to build strong, lasting relationships with clients while continuing to grow his knowledge in stock market analytics and portfolio management. He is especially motivated by helping individuals and families reach their retirement goals, build generational wealth, and enjoy the lives they have worked hard to create.
Outside of the office, Pate enjoys playing music around the Valdosta area. As he begins his career at Southeast Capital, he shares, “I’m beyond excited to work with a team of great character, great values, and greater service for the people we serve.”
