Julie develops personal relationships with her clients in order to help them define and achieve their life aspirations. She is deeply committed to the financial planning process and develops mutual trust and respect with each family through honesty, consistency and hard work. Each financial plan is detailed and customized to their specific goals. She works to inspire clients to dream big through her expansive knowledge of the markets and her own excitement and enthusiasm for life.
With over 20 years of financial planning experience as a financial advisor starting at A.G. Edwards in 2003, Julie proudly joined Raymond James in December 2015 and opened an office in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She loves analyzing the intricacies of the market, coupled with helping her clients invest to fit the retirement lifestyle they have always dreamed of living. Her deep background in estate planning analysis for the ultra-wealthy helps her build comprehensive financial plans designed to create income for her clients in retirement.
Originally from Moorhead, Minnesota, Julie earned a nomination to the United States Military Academy at West Point. She played Division I basketball for four years, serving as team captain. After graduating with honors from West Point, she proudly served in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Captain in the Adjutant General Corps. In 2002, she moved to Tampa and immediately pursued her career as a financial advisor while continuing her involvement in the Veteran community as a member of the Raymond James VALOR program and through the West Point Associate of Graduates.
Julie’s diligent pursuit of honor and excellence shines through in everything she does. She earned a master’s in business administration degree from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida and continuously places value on furthering her education. She is extremely active throughout Wesley Chapel, serving as past chair and current board member for the AdventHealth Hospital’s Wesley Chapel location and supporting their events. She volunteers at both her church and the local prison spreading hope to those in need.
Julie takes great pride in her community of Wesley Chapel and her healthy lifestyle. She places a high priority on fitness and healthy living through exercise, being outdoors and volunteering. She lives in Wesley Chapel with two children, Luke and Tessa. She supports them both endlessly and loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She considers herself lucky to have what she describes as the best job in the world.
