Melissa is passionate about supporting individuals and families in planning and realizing their vision.
Because of her strong belief in comprehensive financial planning, she earned the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner™ professional, one of the most respected financial planning credentials and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. Melissa also serves her clients by accessing the financial expertise and resources of Raymond James, one of the largest independent full-service financial services firms not headquartered on Wall Street. The firm’s unique culture of independence gives her complete freedom to offer objective advice that is solely in the best interest of her clients.
Before joining Raymond James in 2023, Melissa spent 14 years with Wells Fargo in various roles supporting trust, private banking and investment clients. She has earned her Series 7, 66 securities, insurance and long-term care licenses. She is a graduate of the University of North Florida and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and financial services.
Active in her community, Melissa values supporting women and young girls in being successful. She has dedicated six years to being a Girl Scout troop leader, where the mission is to encourage young girls to live with courage, character and confidence. Melissa also serves as a volunteer for Girls, Inc. where they teach girls to be strong, smart and bold.
Melissa is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She lives in Springfield with her four children, who have taught her life’s biggest lessons. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.
