Shane Prill explains his work ethic in the following way, “I simply treat my clients like I would want to be treated. I invest my clients’ money carefully and intelligently.”
A graduate of Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, with a degree in finance, Shane began his investment career in 1986 after gaining valuable experience as a tax practitioner and community banker. Shane is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and American Funds Advisory Council. Shane was a member of the board of directors of the Pension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 10 years. He served as chairman of the board for the last five years of his tenure, which ended in 2003. During his time on the board he served as chairman of the Investment Committee for the over $2 billion dollar pension fund.
Shane lives in east Wichita with his wife, Kianne, a national bank examiner. They have two children Lauren and Luke who both currently attend Kansas State University. Lauren is a meat science graduate student and teaching assistant and Luke is an animal science major. Shane’s spare time is filled maintaining the family ranch and cattle operations and helping his son with his show pig business. Shane and his wife are avid WSU Shocker basketball fans and can be found cheering in the round house at home games. Shane and his family are members of NewSpring Church.
