As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Robby works hard to help clients identity their goals and have a sound plan in place for pursuing them. The prestigious CFP® certification he has attained is one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.
To help clients manage the emotional reactions that commonly accompany the ups and downs in the market, Robby emphasizes the importance of focusing on their long-term needs and goals.
Robby is a member of the Solomon Wealth Group investment committee and collaborates with his fellow committee members to manage and monitor the investments and asset allocations of strategies customized to the goals, needs and risk tolerance of clients.
One of Robby’s favorite roles at Solomon Wealth Group is identifying and selecting investments that suit clients by searching for undervalued investments, particularly when market volatility and investor emotions are high. This philosophy is very much in line with Warren Buffett’s when he says, “Look at market fluctuations as your friend rather than your enemy; profit from folly rather than participate in it.”
Before joining Raymond James in April 2018, Robby was a Senior Vice President Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch and a Financial Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in finance from Ouachita Baptist University..
Originally from Yellville, Arkansas, Robby lives in Tontitown, Arkansas, with his wife, Katie. They have four children, Owen, Alyssa, Annelise and Evan. Robby and his wife have also been actively involved in foster care in recent years.
In his free time, Robby enjoys working on the family farm where he lives and raises Angus beef cattle. You’ll often find him on a tractor or bulldozer. He also enjoys riding four-wheelers and horses, as well as hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. In addition, Robby enjoys serving in various capacities at University Baptist Church, where he is an active member and teacher.
