Darrel is the founder and CEO of The Branch Out Group LLC, a marketing consulting firm that applies traditional marketing principles to help build midsize companies and nontraditional brands such as entrepreneurs, entertainers, and athletes. The firm primarily serves as an outsourced chief marketing officer to emerging businesses and enterprises.
Darrel also founded the Players Roundtable LLC, an invitation-only investment and networking organization for high-net-worth individuals in business, sports, and entertainment. Darrel is a C-suite level executive with over 20 years of global marketing and sales experience having served in integral senior leadership roles within several Fortune 500 companies such as the Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, and Revlon. He holds a B.B.A. degree in marketing from James Madison University and is a Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management Executive Scholar. Darrel brings an expertise in business that has earned him recognition at the highest levels of industry.
Andrew is a member of the regional tax law firm Comiter, Singer, Baseman & Braun, LLP. Andrew received his B.S. in accounting from the University of Florida, a Masters of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University, and a J.D. with honors from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with a certificate in Estates and Trusts Practice. He also received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. As a student at the University of Florida, Andrew served three terms as president of Florida Blue Key. He was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame in 2007. In 2014, Andrew was recognized as an Outstanding Young Alumnus by the UF Alumni Association. Andrew currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council, Tax Section of The Florida Bar, the O’Connell Society, Inc., and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. He and his wife, Pamela, have a 1-year-old son, Mason.
John has an M.S. in administration from Pepperdine University and a B.S. in law enforcement and corrections from Pennsylvania State University. He initially divided 26 years of federal service between the military and civilian sector. As a Marine Corps officer, John served 14 years of active duty and seven years in the reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Following his active military duty, John served 12 years as a civilian with the federal government working in the Intelligence Community, retiring in 1997.
Early in 1999 after serving as delivery director for a state-of-the-art computer forensics laboratory, John and his wife, Louise, founded SpecTal, LLC, a professional security consulting company designed to provide specialized talent to government and private sector clients. SpecTal attracted professionals from technical, analytical, and operational backgrounds to provide unique security consulting to commercial clients and to provide counterterrorism support to the United States government. John and Louise sold SpecTal to L-1 Identity Solutions in October of 2006. In the same year, John was nominated as Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. That same year, SpecTal was recognized as the fastest-growing company in Virginia by the Chamber of Commerce.
John and Louise now run their own private investment company, as well as the Cross Patriot Acts Foundation, a charitable organization designed to support individuals, or their families, who have suffered due to their service for our country. They have wonderful twin daughters, Christina and Victoria.
After receiving his B.A. in business management from Clark University, Jason went to work for New York City based Restaurant Associates as operations manager at the United Nations foodservice facility. Jason is the president of Duffy’s Sports Grill, which is a highly successful restaurant group operating throughout the state of Florida. Duffy’s began as a single location known as Duffy’s Drafthouse in Lake Park, Florida. Duffy’s currently has over 30 restaurants in operation, primarily in southern Florida, and has a controlled expansion plan for the Orlando area and northward throughout Florida. They have a simple goal to be the best casual dining, sports-themed concept in America by creating passionately loyal MVOs (clients), one guest at a time. Jason and his wife, Kelsey, reside in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Michael is a decisive, insightful leader with 18 years of diversified financial experience in public and private industries coupled with a strong educational base (B.S. in accounting, CPA, MBA & CVA). He has a proven track record of adding value to organizations through improved systems, operational efficiencies, acquisitions, strategy formulation, business counsel, capital procurement, valuations, and institution of effective management and operating controls. Prior to forming Company Prophets, Michael worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, M2 Financial Services Inc. (a CPA firm he founded), CNL Financial Advisors, Walt Disney World and Pepsi-Cola.
Michele is owner and CFO of North Ridge Electric, Inc., which is a leading small contracting business providing specialized expertise for projects throughout the United States. She is one of 20 women who hold a Certified Electrical License in the state of Florida. Michele is a former board member of the State of Florida Electrical Contractors Board and chairperson for the Electrical Board. She has chaired the Exam and Rules Committee and Continuing Education Committee.
Michele is currently “the madam” of Auction Ladies LLC, which runs over 60 charitable auctions per year for charities of good cause. Any charity with a budget under $300,000 is provided all service for free. Auction Ladies has conducted events in Florida, Indiana, Virginia and Ohio.
Michele is the 2015 Leadership Excellence Award Winner for Palm Beach County, Florida, which is awarded to the single individual who has done the most to make Palm Beach County a better place to live.
Michele is a passionate advocate for children. She sits on the national board of the National Center on Shaken Baby Prevention. Through that organization, Michele crafted legislation in 25 states to mandate SBS prevention materials for all newborns, and raised money to have the prevention program translated into 11 languages. She has been a member of its speakers bureau for 20 years. Michele is also president of the Board of Directors of Grandma’s House, which provides shelter and loving care for children who have suffered abuse and neglect resulting in the child being removed from their homes by the Florida DCF.
Michele has been president of Arc of Florida since 2009, which provides quality services, education and advocacy for children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, from birth and throughout life. In this role she helped to craft legislation providing relief for people with developmental disabilities from laws that prohibit their ability to earn money and not lose their SSI. The bill, known as the ABLE Act, was recently signed into law by President Barack Obama, and is touted as the single biggest reform since the ADA act.
Michele and her husband, Rod, reside in Wellington, Florida. They have twin daughters; one is currently attending college in Colorado, and the other attends the Royal Palm School for the developmentally challenged.
Robert grew up in Palm Beach County prior to attending the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and receiving his dental degree in 1994. He is a regular speaker and educator within the dental health community, has been program leader of PowerPAC for the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, and teaches TEAM dental seminars and Foundation hands-on programs helping dentists implement the newest esthetic dentistry into their offices. He has authored numerous professional reports and research papers and is a member of the editorial board of PPAD, Spectrum, The Journal of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry.
Robert and his wife, Isabelle, met while in college and reside in Palm Beach, Florida, with their daughter, Olivia. Robert and Isabelle (who is a pediatric dentist) along with Dr. Christopher Ramsey have their professional partnership in Jupiter, Florida.
Michael is a retired physician with over 30 years of experience in emergency medicine and critical care. Michael attended Brown University and obtained his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia. He received postgraduate training in orthopedic surgery with residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Concurrent to his undergraduate degree, Michael was involved in several research studies for the United States Navy, Sub Base, Groton, Connecticut, and the Institute for Environmental Medicine, Philadelphia – focusing on hyperbaric medicine and deep sea physiological effects. During his residency, Michael’s research focused on plate-induced osteoporosis in healing fractures and studies in nerve regeneration in varied electric fields.
Upon completion of his medical training, Michael served as an emergency medicine physician at Rodborough Memorial Hospital, Philadelphia for several years until relocating to Boca Raton and Boca Raton Regional Hospital in a similar capacity in 1987. Michael retired from emergency medicine in 2001, but continues work in medicine retaining medical licenses in both Pennsylvania and Florida. His current passions include scuba and independent film.
He has two adult daughters. One is completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Denver, and the other recently completed her master’s degree at the University of London – Goldsmith.
Neil served as CEO and president of Muvico Entertainment, L.L.C. from early 2010 through 2014 when the multi-cinema group was sold to Carmike Cinemas. Prior to accepting the mantel of CEO for Muvico, Neil served as outside counsel and played a pivotal role in Muvico’s corporate and financial restructuring, which allowed the company to emerge debt-free, with an infusion of new capital, and the foundation to become the formidable company that was sold to Carmike.
Neil has successfully practiced law for well over three decades. After graduating from Georgetown University, and while completing his law degree at the University of Michigan, he started his legal career by clerking for a federal judge. Neil later became a member of the legal staff of the prominent Chicago-based firm of McDermott, Will and Emery.
During Neil’s academic and professional career, he has received numerous accolades and awards. He currently resides in West Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife, Cathy, and they have a son, Landon, who is studying at Florida Atlantic University.
Bob has over 30 years of experience in the information technology industry in sales, services, marketing, and business development across enterprise, commercial, government, and small-to-medium business product and market segments. This includes 18 years in executive management positions at Hewlett-Packard Inc., Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Avaya, with responsibility for upwards of $8 Billion in annual revenue and a $100 Million annual marketing budget. His most recent roles include management of HPE's distribution technology services for the Americas and US SMB enterprise channel sales and business development.
Bob has participated on the President advisory councils for the largest global IT distributors, as well as manufacturer representation for the Global Distribution Technology Council (GTDC). He has a reputation in the IT industry for distribution channel expertise, developing strategic partnerships, and for pioneering innovative market initiatives resulting in record revenue growth.
Bob has a BA in psychology from the State University of New York and an MA in clinical psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles. He performed his graduate internship at South Bay Human Services Center in Torrance, CA as a group and individual intern therapist. Trained in the martial arts, Bob enjoys community volunteer service as a self-defense instructor, and is an avid yoga practitioner. His primary volunteer focus is working with US military veterans.
Sadly, one of our founding board members recently passed away. He was a gentleman, a solid family man and a true friend. Marty was a key source of guidance and a trusted advisor. A World War II Navy veteran, Marty began his corporate career with Sun Chemical in the early 1950s. Over the subsequent years, Marty held numerous executive C-suite positions including president of Lederle Laboratories, corporate vice president of external affairs for American Cyanamid and president of Formica Corporation. He was a director of the Cincinnati region of the Federal Reserve Board, a sought-after speaker and author on executive leadership, and a faculty member at the Business School of Ramapo College.
