Larry Goeas was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii, where he graduated from Kaiser High School and earned his

B.A. degree in Business Finance from the University of Hawaii. He played four years of football for the Rainbow Warriors under the coach Dick Tomey and has won numerous awards.

Mr. Goeas has been an investment consultant for over 36 years. His primary focus is in the area of investment consulting. The majority of his consulting clients are based in Hawaii. He works closely with his clients in developing investment policy statements, manager research and selections as well as investment monitoring. Mr. Goeas first worked for Shearson American Express in 1983, which though many mergers ultimately became known as Smith Barney. His primary focus was in investment consulting where he was a Consulting Group

Associate and a Mutual Fund Coordinator. While at Smith Barney he developed specific consulting techniques for the property and casualty insurance industry.

In 1998 he expanded his institutional consulting services and began work with union multi-employer trust funds. In March 2001, Mr. Goeas changed firms and became Senior Vice President at A.G. Edwards. A.G. Edwards gave him the ability to expand his institutional consulting services while working out of their Honolulu office. In September 2004, Mr. Goeas became the Branch Manager of the Hawaii office for A.G. Edwards. In August 2008, Mr. Goeas changed firms and became Senior Vice - President and Branch Manager of the Stifel Nicolaus Honolulu branch.

In February 2016, after much consideration the Goeas Group decided to change firms and open the first Raymond James & Associates Hawaii Office. Mr. Goeas’ chose Raymond James, a firm that is truly client-centric and offers a great corporate culture with the tools and technology the Goeas Group requires.
